Scholarships are awarded to current and select student applicants from all locations.
The majority of these scholarships are awarded over a period of three quarters, as Academic Excellence Scholarships.
At each campus the senior applicant- recipient is designated as the Alumni-Academic Excellence Scholarship recipient.
Applications for these awards are available from a designated person or persons at each campus. The paperwork is to be submitted during April and awards are based upon winter quarter grades. Awards are made during April/May.
We encourage NAU Alumni to make contributions to the non-profit foundation in order that the scholarship awards can be increased in numbers and value. This will enhance educational continuation and graduation by NAU’s outstanding students.
The Foundation was established in 1967 as the NCB Foundation as a Section 501(c)(3) organization. In 2000, the organization changed its name to National American University Foundation.
Purpose:
Exclusively for charitable, religious, education, and scientific purposes including, but not limited to, the making of loans, providing scholarships, fellowships, grants, and other financial assistance to or for the benefit of students and faculty of the National American University including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as amended or as may, in the future, be amended.
