The Foundation was established in 1967 as the NCB Foundation as a Section 501(c)(3) organization. In 2000, the organization changed its name to National American University Foundation.
Purpose:
Exclusively for charitable, religious, education, and scientific purposes including, but not limited to, the making of loans, providing scholarships, fellowships, grants, and other financial assistance to or for the benefit of students and faculty of the National American University including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as amended or as may, in the future, be amended.
